When we first began dreaming about hosting workshops at Blue Haze, I knew I wanted to create something different — something slower, more grounded, and filled with heart. I didn’t just want to run a class; I wanted to hold space. And that’s exactly what unfolded over the past season. James, our host, was ever so gracious and gave us an inspiring peek into the world that is Blue Haze on the Anduramba Ranges Near Crow’s Nest, Queensland
Through raw food demonstrations, natural first aid sessions, tincture-making, and gentle garden tours, we welcomed people into a space that wasn’t just about learning — it was about remembering, remembering how capable we are. How connected we are to the land. And how healing can be both simple and sacred.
Every Detail Was Intentional
From the moment someone arrived, I wanted them to feel like they were stepping into a different rhythm. Slower. Softer. I curated each experience — the layout, the music, the welcome tea, the herbs in the room — with intention. Whether it was our hands in beeswax and plant oils or our hearts stirred by stories around the firepit, there was a thread of meaning woven through every moment.
These workshops weren’t just events I planned — they were living expressions of a deeper calling. I wanted people to feel seen. To feel nourished. To walk away not only with new skills, but with a fresh sense of purpose, peace, and permission to reclaim their wellness journey on their own terms.
Moments That Mattered

There were so many standout moments:
- A woman crying softly as she shared her story during our herbal first aid class, realising for the first time how strong she truly is.
- Laughter bubbling up during our raw food workshop as participants discovered just how delicious simple, whole ingredients can be.
- Children running through the garden barefoot while their parents crafted tinctures and salves, realising wellness can be a family journey.
Every class held something special — and I’m so proud of what we created.
What I Learned Along the Way

Hosting these events taught me that it’s possible to blend planning with presence. That people are craving connection more than ever. And that when you create a space where people feel safe, curious, and valued… they show up as their truest selves.
I also learned (again) that it’s okay to hold the logistics, the vision, and the mop bucket at the same time. It’s a beautiful mess sometimes — but it’s worth every bit of effort.
What’s Next?
This season of workshops was just the beginning. We’re taking everything we’ve learned — from your feedback, your stories, and your energy — and pouring it into what comes next at Blue Haze and Lovimco.
More hands-on learning. More faith-rooted, whole-person wellness. More time around the table and under the trees.
If you were part of any of our recent events: thank you. Your presence made it what it was.
If you missed it — don’t worry. We’ll be back with a new season soon.
Follow us on socials to be the first to know what’s coming.
Until next time,
With gratitude,
Victoria
